THE LULU RAES

The Lulu Raes are a four-piece outfit from Sydney, Australia comprised of members Eddie, Raras, Marcus and Tom, who combine their love of pop, Motown harmonies, and catchy weirdness to create their own danceable and infectious brand of indie/pop/rock. Having written with Sticky Fingers and influenced by The Strokes, The Flaming Lips and The Pixies, they have a sound that is best described part Talking Heads and part now-defunct Brisbane Indie quartet Yves Klein Blue. The Lulu Raes invite you to join them on their journey to your hearts with their single “The Way Life Runs,” which has been receiving extensive support on the global tastemaker radio show Passport Approved. The track, which has been compared to the likes of Phoenix, is a lively indie track complete with a chipper hook.

JODEE

Jodee is a singer/songwriter who comes from the rural environs of a small town in Pennsylvania, the same state that has produced a number of other successful female artists, namely P!nk, Christina Perri and Vanessa Carlton. Utilizing everything from traditional hymns and vintage records, to playful harmonies and made-up material, making music quickly became a passion for Jodee. She now resides in an artistic community of fellow singer/songwriters and performs regularly in both Los Angeles and Manhattan, earning comparisons to Dido, Sia, Lissie and Norah Jones. Jodee has been hard at work putting together her latest EP, After The Hurricane, which showcases her smoky tones and impassioned vocal abilities. The title track is an up-tempo number with lyrical references to one of the greatest films of all time, The Wizard of Oz.

MICHAEL SCHULTE

image

Born and raised in Germany, music has always been a priority in Michael Schulte’s life. When he was a young child, he would always be singing and constantly serenading his family with his early vocal skills. After teaching himself to play the guitar when he was 16, he began to cover popular songs and uploaded them to YouTube. Since 2006, the number of fans increased, reaching the millions, and the response was overwhelmingly positive; his cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” gathered over 4.5 million views. Michael’s debut album, Wide Awake, was released in 2012, and immediately earned him a No.1 in the Germany Newcomer Charts. Michael has returned with his sophomore album, The Arising, which turned the small stories of his everyday life into brilliant songs. With the new album, the 24 year-old is giving honest music straight from the mind of a mature artist; music that will not only touch you, but grip you, that doesn’t just move you, but will send you on a journey.

STICKY FINGERS

One summers night some years ago, Dylan Frost (vocals/guitar) was finishing up a night of busking when Paddy Cornwall (bass/vocals) walked past and the two struck up a conversation. Bonding over mutual hobbies, the lads added Seamus Coyle (lead guitar), Freddy Crabs (keys/synth) and Beaker Best (drums/percussion) to form Sticky Fingers. Musically, they describe their sound as a melting pot of reggae, psych, pop and bourbon, with comparisons to The Clash, Pink Floyd and Arctic Monkeys. The Sydney quintet released their debut album, Caress Your Soul, in March of 2013 that resulted in multiple charting singles and a spot on the Triple J Hottest 100. The album produced three singles that reached high rotation on national Australian radio where the song “Caress Your Soul’ peaked at No.17 on the ARIA single charts. Tickets to see Sticky Fingers sold just as fast as the album did, nearly selling-out every venue that they performed at; playing 32 dates in 40 days in Holland, UK and France on their European tour. Their sophomore album, Land of Pleasure, was just released on August 1st containing the single “Just For You,” which packs a massive, must-listen chorus. Sticky Fingers is promoting the album by touring Australia throughout September and October.

KIDFORCE is back and louder than ever with his brand new video for “STFU,” the debut single off of his brand new Deathpop EP. Turn it up loud and let loose, this is the bass heavy anthem of the summer!!

MANFRED KIDD

Two childhood friends met on the midnight train home after a night out in downtown Gothenburg, Sweden. Victor Crusner and Fredrik Folkstad discussed old memories and had a great time connecting. They stayed in touch and began making music together. Ideas and visions turned into songs, which they then recorded piece by piece at different locations. Recorded partly in a 19th century inn as well as in a cabin in the Swedish west coast archipelago, the two created a full-length album under the moniker Manfred Kidd. With an amazing and unique sound, this is a band to be reckoned with. Their debut EP, Where Were You When You Were Us, has been compared to the likes of The Killers and Passion Pit. The Wild Honey Pie music blog touts the debut as “one of those EPs that manages to never dull, only heighten as it progresses, ending with an inevitable repeat play - i.e. infinite plays.” The duo are currently available for global signing, licensing, publishing and booking.
